UFC buys out Strikeforce

The UFC  buys out Strikefore their main compation in the US. So now at is point in time UFC has the biggest market in MMA in the US. In some ways I think that this is pretty cool seeing as we the fans will get a chance to be able to see some great fights what we would have never had the chance to be able to see before. But then again it could also become a real problem for Strikefore fighters I am sure that the UFC wont keep all the Strikeforce fighters under contrast. Being the UFC is now the major player in MMA in the US any fighters that doesnt stay with the UFC will have a very hard time finding work. The next major market in MMA is Japan and now with all the hard times that the Japanese people are going through right now I really don’t see Japan have to many MMA fights going on till they are able to get back to where they where before the earthquake. All and all I have to say that I am really looking forward to seeing so really great fights in the near future.

Japan

It is so very sad to see what is going on in Japan do to the earthquake. There are so many hurt,lost or dead people other there. And there is also so much damage that was done to homes,cars, boats ect. It is going to take such a long time for the Japans people to get back to the way things where before the earthquake. Being that I am in the military  I am on stand by right now and at any given time I can get a phone call and have to report to work and get ready to have to go to Japan and have to help out. If that happens it happens it is my job and it is part of what I have to do.

Got to love the NFL

You really got to love the NFL. The NFL and the players union can’t seem to get things right. They keep meeting with  one another but they just can’t seem to come to terms with one another. That really sucks. If they can’t come to terms there well be no NFL season next year and that would really suck for the NFL the owners the players and the fans.  But there is a group of people out there that a lot of people don’t seem to think about when we are talking about their being a good chance that there is no NFL season next year and that is the people who work at the stadium. If there is no NFL season next year what are the people who work in the stadiums going to do for work. They are going to end up loosing a years worth of pay and good luck to any of them being able to get another job in this day in age. I really do hope that the NFL and the players union can get things together there is a lot of money to be made in the NFL. If there isn’t an NFL season there well be a lot of money lost  and that would be really to bad.

Pre Superbowl

So I was watching the pre superbowl show. There was an interview with people from New Orleans talking about the Saints and about hurrican Katrina. It was a pretty touching story they where interviewing people from all walks of life form doctors to an 86 year old man that had lost his house and still till this day he doesnt have a house. The people that they talked to all had alot of the same stories to say they feel was if they have been forgotten by the goverment. It is sad that we have moved on to help other countrys but we still havent done all that we can do to help out the people New Orlenas.  The only time that they feel really happy is when they are watching the Saints play and win. Well they have alot to be happy about now that the Saints have one the superbowl.

SuperBowl

Now that the superbowl has come and gone. It is so very funny to see all the over night fans come out of the wood work. It always so very funny to see all the people that have become fans of the wining team the day after superbowl. All these people that have been die hard fans for other teams are now fans of the Saints just because they won the superbowl.  All the Saints hat and jerseys are going to start flying out of stores and most of the people that are going to be buying all the hat and jerseys aren’t even Saints fans. I have been a fan of the Dolphins sence I was a kid and they havent had the best seasons. They havent one a superbowl in such along time but I still support them win are loss. I dislike over night fans and I so am not an over night fan.

Gary Coleman

So I was reading Entertaiment weekly the other day and the was a report in the magazine about Gary Coleman being  arrested. Gary Coleman is now 41 years old. He was arrested jan 24 on an outstandind warrant for failure to appear in court on a 2009 domestic-violence charge. How many time does this gay have to get arrested before he stops doing dume things. What is the deal  with child stars getting into all kinda trouble. He isent even a star anymore. The last thing that he ever did that he was know for was back when he was still a kid. But sence then the only thing that he has been doing is getting arrested. Really when is it time to just stop being dume. The guy is 41 already. Give it up Gary quit being dume.

weather

What is up with this weather. The weeks reports about this rain are so fucked up. One min they say that it is going to rain all week. Then the next min they say that it isent going to rain till the weekend. The last time I know friday isent the weekend. The news cant seem to get things right when it comes to the weather. There has to be a way to be able to get better weather reports out to the people. The news is just all jacked up.

HSUS

I was watching tv the other day and I saw and add on tv for the HSUS. I dont know really what it stands for but I do know that it is an add trying to get people to give money for animals that are in danger. I have seen this add in the past and all in my comm 10 class. The older addes that I saw had just dogs and cats in it. This new add that I saw the other day not only had dogs and cats but they have gotten to the point where there is now horses and cows in the add. I guess they werent getting enough people to send in money by just showing dogs and cats that in danger. They had to step up the add and add horses and cows. It is juat another way of making people feel bad for the animals and give all kinda money to help out the animals. Dont get me wrong I thinking that it is a good thing to help out animals. But do they really need to start adding other animals other then dogs or cats into there adds. What is next are they going to start adding birds and turtles and other animals to there adds. To be able to get there point across.

So I was watching tv last night and this add came on tv. The add was talking about sell your house fast by call the 800 number are going on to there web site sellmyhousefast.com. They even state that even if you believe you may be upside down they can still sell your house fast. I know that times are tuff right no.w and I understand that people need to sell there houses. But are you really going to trust a tv add to sell your house. I would love to meet the people that have used this tv add to sell there house. I just think that this is a really crazy idea for people that need to sell there houses. I wonder how much money people are really getting back from there home sales. Probably not ever much at all.

football

I am looking forward to this weekends football games. The thing that I am looking forward the most this watching the Vikings QB  Bret Farve play. The guy is 40 years old and he still plays like he is in his 20s. He out play most of the QB that are in there 20s. If they loss this weekend how knows if this well be Bret Farves last game he has retired 2 times now and come back 2 times now. But i do enjoy watching play and I well keep enjoying it till be retires for good. Win or loss this weekend  Bret Farve when he retires for good well be a first ballot hall of frame QB. He well for sure go into the hall of frame with all the great QB that are before his time. But I have a feeling that even after he retires for good that he wont stay away from football I could see him becoming a QB coach are a head coach or even working in a teams front office over seeing everything that goes on in the day to day operations with a football team.
